Youth Mentor
Meet weekly with a young person in Project Surge. Talk life, homework, goals. The single highest-impact role we have.
Academic Tutor
Support students with math, reading, and writing during our after-school program. Subject knowledge is a plus, not required.
Event Volunteer
Help run KidsFest, community cookouts, and leadership summits. Setup, food, logistics, and hospitality.
Community Ambassador
Spread the word in your church, gym, workplace, or school. Help us recruit students and volunteers across Cincinnati.
Media & Storytelling
Photographers, videographers, and writers — capture our work and help us share it with donors, partners, and the city.
Skills-Based Pro Bono
Attorneys, accountants, designers, HR — lend your expertise so we spend less on overhead and more on youth.

No. What matters is consistency, empathy, and a willingness to learn. We provide onboarding, ongoing training, and a support team that stays with you.
Mentors commit 2–4 hours per week, including a weekly meet-up. Event volunteers can serve as little as a few hours per season. You choose what fits.
None. We cover background checks, training materials, and any program supplies you need.
Yes — we love group volunteers. Reach out and we'll design an experience that fits your team.
Most in-person volunteering happens at our program sites and partner schools across Cincinnati. Some roles are fully remote.
